The Proof of Payment may be a screenshot image (JPEG/PNG) or a PDF of the payment receipt which the payment service provider may have displayed or sent by email or showed in the app you used after making the payment. You should be able to access the transaction details somewhere in the app/website you used. Ideally, the Proof of Payment should contain transaction reference number/id, payer/payee's name, to whom the amount was paid, date of payment/transaction and amount paid.
